Sooooo, as I was playing the Sims 4 it occurred to me how much it reminded me of the original Sims. The closed world, the gameplay, no toddlers, etc etc. So I booted up the original game for chuckles and fell in love with it all over again!

I couldn't decide what to build lately, so I'm going to convert my favourite lots of the Sims 1, 2 & 3 to the Sims 4. It'll be interesting to see how they look and it'll give me something to do!

Anyone who's played the Sims 1 will remember this crappy little starter home:




And this is how it came out looking in the Sims 4!



Quite a difference! Of course I couldn't find a lot of the "original" stuff but I did the best I could with base game items only and no custom content.

The original lot is 28 x 28, but I think it suits 15x20 much better
The original cost was $10206, and with the lot the new version came to $9386,so your poor sim (literally) will still have enough funds to buy a tv, a cheap sofa and maybe even a stove!

I've included pics of the original so those who've never seen it will know it was only partially furnished, as I "usually" fully furnish my lots. As it is, they have the necessities so have fun with it!
