Mid-Century Central Florida Ranch: 3b/2b/carport

I've been meaning to do a series of real life houses - sort of an "I've Lived Here" kinda thing...
Welp - no time like the present! I guess we'll start with our current digs - and get started right now

So, to shorten the story, and yet provide some immediate background: Back in 2008, we bought a huge (3,600 sq ft) dream house in a ritzy/new/HOA-crazed neighborhood (bad time to buy, IKR!) Well, five years later we woke up to realize we hated that dumb neighborhood (and it's HOA!) So, we decided to move ONE LAST TIME. *sigh* The sale of our house took over 2 years - "Realtor from Hell" - and with the bank breathing down our necks, we finally accepted a lowball offer; and got outta there! *whew!* But, Mr. Lowball didn't pay us enough for a down-payment on our next place... so, we are now renting for a year. And here we are.

This house is small - less than half the size we actually need. All 3 of us are artists. We each need studio space. Then there's the 4 cats and 2 big dogs... Ouch! But, we're making it work. For one year.


I tried to make it as realistic as possible to what we have in real life. So, there is a bit of CC involved. It is a highly playable floorplan - the "tiny bathroom" has 2 doors, so hopefully no one will get really stuck in there. This upload is a copy of the lot - no sim has set foot on this lot. There is a smoke alarm, burglar alarm, phone, computer, and everything else your sim will need - it is move-in ready

NOTE: Each of the ceiling fans has a light (the invisible/tiny light by sensei2003, included) To turn the lights on/off - select another light and choose "Turn all lights on/off"
