11 JULY 2005: Fixed an issue that prevented the user-created recolours to show up in the catalog. All the 5 Water Towers have been updated. Added a sample recolour (for the Big and Medium versions only).

14 MAY 2005: IMPORTANT UPDATE!!! Somehow, the GUIDs of these water towers conflict with another object of mine: the glass double door (from the Wall-Window set). I've updated the GUIDs in all the Water Towers (except the huge one, that was correct), so PLEASE RE-DOWNLOAD!

This Water Tower represents a real landmark in Pleasantview, I'm sure that everyone will recognize it

Now it can be bought from the Buy Mode catalog (in Misc/Misc section).

It comes in 5 sizes, ranging from Huge to Mini (Polygon count: 1406, regardless the size).
To help you get an idea of the relative dimensions, in the attached picture they are compared to a 5 storey building. The Huge version is really oversize: to look at the top, you have to switch to First Person camera! (And the huge version is 50% of the original mesh!).

Much to my surprise, I've found that the mesh is very detailed, as you can see from the pictures.

Known issues:
1) Oddly enough, the Water Towers placed in the lots *are not* displayed in Neighborhood view;
2) Though some of them are really big, all of them are 1-tile objects: I suggest to place them at the corner of the lot, otherwise your sims might pass through them.

The Water Towers are EP-ready, have unique GUIDs and are recolourable (the only recolourable part is the "Sims2" design).

When you select it from the catalog, don't forget to read the description! :D
