Education Bookshelf Default Recolours

The Education career that came with Seasons has such an incredibly useful bookcase as its reward item. I love that bookcase! Also I really, really don't like that bookcase. I mean, some nice scrolling work went into the design, and I'm not even mad at that sillybig book on top. What I don't love is the way the metal is just so. aggressively. orange. It refuses to match any decor, and it's not recolourable in SimPE, so for #themeBackToSchool I decided to take a crack at default replacing the Education Bookshelf in silver, tarnished brass, and gold.

These three default replacements are for Books First for Learning: A Bookshelf of Education, the reward given during the Education career, so Seasons is required. All three colours are included in the .rar (and are Compressorized), but only one should be in your game at a time. You won't break anything by having more, but only the last to load will actually work. Please take your pick!





As you can see in the big picture up top of the gold replacement, the appearance (or disappearance) of the scrolling and other metal trim is dictated by any recolours you might apply; the default is really only the boss of that big Zoolander-esque book. These default replacement textures will also work with dharden's default replacement of this bookcase that uses Michelle's awesome Bookshelf of Education mesh.
