This is a set of small overrides centered around gardening. They may be used separately or together.

Compost Weeds And Trimmings
  • This is a global mod that lets sims compost puddle weeds, garden weeds, trimmings from shrubs and orchard trees. You'll have more fertilizer than you can use, guaranteed.
  • Conflicts:
    • Both versions are reported to conflict with Jonasn's Gardening Duties mod. See aelflaed's comments for possible workarounds (https://modthesims.info/download.php?p=5948045#post5948045)
    • WalkToBin versions conflict with Trim Inaccessible Bushes, Gardening Route Mod, Gardening Badge Building, Nopke's inconvenient gardening mod, that's why I made additional versions that include some of their features -- get one of them and remove conflicting mods. Or, try a NoWalking version.
    • Conflicts with Monique's Tending Auto Compost that seems to do pretty much the same (I found out about it 2 years later). Choose whichever one you like better by how it runs in game.
    • NoWalking version is less likely to conflict with other mods.
  • Versions:
    • CompostWeedsTrimmings_NoWalking - sims don't go to a compost bin, points get magically added to any available compost bin. Should work with most custom plants and trees.
    • CompostWeedsTrimmings_WalkToBin - sims walk up to a compost bin and dispose a bag in it, except for NPCs who add compost magically. When sims do more than one plant/shrub/tree/weed in a row, they go to a bin after the last one. If there are no available compost bins or they become full, sims may try to dispose the bag in a trash can, especially neat sims. May not work for custom trees, unless sims are doing Tend Many interaction.
    • CompostWeedsTrimmings_WalkToBin_Inaccess - WalkToBin + trim inaccessible shrubs and pull inaccessible weeds.
    • CompostWeedsTrimmings_WalkToBin_Inaccess_Badge - WalkToBin + trim inaccessible shrubs and pull inaccessible weeds + gain gardening badge from pulling weeds and trimming bushes.
    • CompostWeedsTrimmings_WalkToBinNPC_Inaccess_Badge - same as WalkToBin_Inaccess_Badge, but NPCs will also walk to bin (gardener, landlord, butler). They will do it after each plant/bush/tree/weed, which is a lot of walking. That's because NPCs use different code for gardening.



Harvest Many Means All
  • This changes Harvest Many and Sell Many interactions for garden plants and orchard trees.
  • Sims will harvest/sell all harvestables with one click, not only one type of plant. Originally, you have to click on each: ...Many Tomatoes, ...Many Peppers, etc.
  • It's still separate for plants and trees.
  • Unfortunalety, it might not work, if you click on custom plants, because they have their own modded interactions. But if you click on a Maxis plant/tree, your sim may procede to custom ones after it. Sun&Moon plants (that I know of) are not technically garden plants, so they won't be affected at all.



NPCs Don't Forget To Spray Garden
  • This fixes a mistake that makes gardeners, butlers and landlords forget to spray some of your bug infested plants and orchard trees.
  • Conflicts:
    • CJH_Hospital - if you have it, get Meduza's compatible version here
  • Versions:
    • NPCsDontForgetToSprayGarden_AL - for those who have Apartment Life
    • NPCsDontForgetToSprayGarden_Sn-FT - for others



Plants Take Time To Sprout
  • You may have noticed that garden plants sprout almost immediately after being planted, even though their tuning says they are supposed to stay in a planted stage for a few hours. That is because an attribute isn't properly set.
  • With this fix, your garden plants will spend some time in a bare dirt pile stage before they sprout. Maxis and custom.
  • Beware that it will increase the total growing time of your plants! If it bothers you, I recommend k-c_faster-gardening package that cuts that time in half (the mod won't work with Aysarth's default replacements for Maxis plants, unless you're using my version of them).



Don’t Click On Occupied Garden Plot
  • Hides Plant and Fertilize options that were visible when they weren't supposed to be visible, like on soil occupied by Aysarth's garden plant replacements.
