Chapter 2 - Last Night with the Belle Part III

Don continued, "Anyways, one thing leads to another."







"We ended up going into my bedroom and we've done things that we shouldn't have done. Some adult things."


"Alright, alright. No need to emphasize." Says the officer, shaking his head.





"After we did it, Bella felt so guilty about what we’ve done."


"She kept saying sorry. She said, 'I'm sorry. I shouldn't have
done this to you. To my daughter. To my husband. I'm sorry.
I'm so, so sorry.' She kept saying that."





"I kept telling her it was okay. That it was nothing. It wasn’t
her fault. She kept saying sorry. She got up and got her clothes.
To be honest, I've never seen anyone get dressed that fast before.
I'm usually the one to.. you know.. It was kind of impressive."





"I ran after her while she was running out the door." Don paused.


"Her last words to me were, 'Take care of my daughter. I trust you,
Don, you're a great guy' and she was out of my sight."


No one has seen Bella Goth since. The police believed
Don was sincere and concluded that she ran away because
she felt guilty for cheating on her husband with her daughter’s fiancé.





The police promised to keep the investigation but with the crimes
that have been going on lately, there seems to be more things
going on in town that concerns the police than a runaway person,
even if that person is Bella.


Don decided the right thing to do was to keep his relationship with
Cassandra. For Bella's sake. Besides, Sandra is kind of hot... In her
mysterious, quiet way.
