After reading a request by Evanesco @ GOS, I decided to give it a shot. My attempt was a conversion failure. But I did like the way my mesh turned out so I finished my fence, two more colors and a gate. It was mentioned that a grungy fence or two might be liked. After starting a grungy color, I decided to take it a bit further and do a few wrecked fences. (With matching gate, of course.) These wrecked fences (and gate) are the result. To me, they look like the simple gates might look after they were neglected for many years.
The simple fences are all the same, only the colors are different. Each of the wrecked fences have small differences. A board might be shorter in one spot or missing in another compared to the other two.

You need to have at least one (any) EP for the fences to show in game.

NOTE: Even though I based my fences on a TS3 conversion request, my meshes do not use any of CycloneSue's mesh or textures in any way, shape or form.
NOTE 2: About the polycount- the nails are part of the mesh, not the texture. I liked the 3D look of the nails and leaving them as a mesh means that the polycount will be higher for such simple fences. That said, I had these fences all over my test lot and didn't notice any lag on my older computer.
NOTE 3: Since the sides of the fences and gates are slightly different (one side has nail heads)- if you want a uniform look you'll need to pay attention to the direction you start dragging from. One way shows one side of the fence, the other way shows the other side.

Polygon Counts:
SimpleStickGate- 870 (Maxis hinge)
SimpleStickFence - ALL - Diagonal: 384, Post: 12, Straight: 276
WreckedStickGate - 774 (Maxis hinge)
WreckedStickFence - ALL - Diagonal: 228, Post: 12, Straight: 216

Evanesco for the request that inspired these meshes and CycloneSue for the original fence that led to that request; HugeLunatic, CuriousB and CrabOfDoom for the tips and links that allowed me to finish the gates and fix a little texture problem.
