I like to read. I'll read anything. If it's got words on it, I'll probably read it at some point- even if it's not in English. To support my habit, I trade books with my mom and her friends, download books to my Nook, get the newspaper, read my kids' school books and get a lot of free magazines. While reading one of those magazines I saw a picture I wanted to try to recreate- this is what I came up with:

Looks pretty simple and easy, right? Wrong. I couldn't find any taper candles that were "just right". So I set out to fix that:

(Recolors were also involved, but we're not talking about those here!) After those candles were done I wasn't happy with only having 1 choice of candle holder. So:

and:

There you have it. Proof of my lighting addiction! With the addition of these 9 candles, I have now made almost 50 lamps. 50. I need help. In my defense, it wasn't a conscious thing. I didn't even realize how many I've made until I got curious enough to fill a room with every lamp I've ever made. And, OMG, that doesn't even include recolors I've done of other lamp meshes!

In this download you get:
3 sets of 3 candles and 4 recolors for each set. Every single candle and recolor are shown in the screenshots.

If you download, you should know:
The sets are repositoried. The SHORT candle of each set is the MASTER of that set- the other 2 candles in each set are SLAVES of that master. Don't worry- the files are clearly named so you know which is which.
These are lamps, so they can be turned on and off.
They're categorized as table lamps but can be placed just about anywhere (even the ground) without cheats.

All can be found in Lighting>Table Lamps for 10 Simoleons. They're base game compatible and there is a residential collection file included!

Please Note: Some of the colors look a little washed out in the "lit" screenshots. This is only because there are so many candles close together. See the "unlit" screenshot for what the colors actually look like. The candle texture is rather pretty up close.. it's a glitter texture.

Polygon Counts:
Candle Set 1- ALL - 350
Candle Set 2- ALL - 206 (Square candle holders)
Candle Set 3- Short - 626; Med - 730; Tall - 830 (Curvy candle holders)
