This house is based on the archetypical Norwegian house, but with some added features that make it more "country".
It's not really supposed to replicate a real Norwegian house, at least not on the inside, but it does have a lot of inspiration from that. It's a mix of a cabin and a contemporary suburban house.

The house is situated on a hill with tall trees and lots of vegetation, adding to the cabin feel. The house also has a semi-wrap around porch, which lets your sims enjoy the view. There is a detached garage on the ground level, because Norwegians generally don't make houses with attached garages.

At the first floor you will find an open-plan kitchen/living/dining/TV-area and a half bath. Both the dining area and the TV area has a bay window, just because.
At the second floor there is an open study and two bedrooms.
In the basement I made some room for a "man-cave", where you can put a flatscreen, foosball game, whatever you like. There is also one half and on full bath plus a bedroom.
