For this upload I wanted to do something completely different. The danish user "Frode0107" inspired me to try making a scandinavian contemporary house! The house is based off a early 90's house in my in-real-life neighborhood in Norway.

In the 90's, Norwegians generally built very nostalgic and traditional houses, as a contrast to the boxy, edgy houses of the 1970's and 80's.
This house however, has a striking roof design and large windows, which is the complete opposite of the trends at the time. The only traditional element is the strongly colored exterior siding.

Contemporary houses tend to be white, white and white, so I wanted to mix it up with a more traditional 90's color palette. It has strong, earthy colors and a lot of wooden furniture. I tried as best as I could to make it feel 90's, though it might be a bit over the top and stereotypical.

I really like the large, open living room with lots of windows and air.

The house has four bedrooms (five if you count the study), and two bathrooms.

It costs 52,438 unfurnished and 77,132 furnished, and has a 25x35 lot.

Hope you like it!
