One of the dresses I've had in limbo for a while, to only tidy up and upload now. This is the gown Margaery Tyrell wears at her wedding to Joffrey during the infamous "Purple Wedding". The gown itself defies description, in my opinion: a thick silvery-bluish material embossed with a pattern of rose leaves. The shape is very curve-emphasizing, but the sharpness of the wings at the shoulders hint at Margaery's steely resolve to have the Iron Throne for herself. The embellishment also embodies this contrast between softness and sharpness, a silver embroidery motif that traces her curves even as it is studded with metal spikes that resemble thorns. The train at the back, however, is all feminine exuberance, filled as it is with tumbling lavender-grey roses.
It's long been an ambition of mine to make this dress, and the mesh turned out way easier than I thought it would be. So did the texture, once I gave up the idea of drawing the thorny vines by hand. I apologize that the texture here is almost entirely photoskinned, which is a fact that still bugs me, but I hope I haven't done so bad a job as to break the immersion. The roses at her flanks are meshed, and that adds (in my opinion) vital dimension to the dress.
There are no issues with clipping as far as I could see in my playtesting. It may happen with poses that hold the legs in odd positions relative to each other, but otherwise I foresee no problems. If you experience any issues, please leave a comment and I will get to correcting it.
YA/AF, enabled for formal, disabled for random.
Two recolorable channels (dress / roses at the flanks and in the train)
All LOD's and morphs except for the pregnant morph are supported.
File size: ~2.1 MB (1024x1024 textures, except for the bumpmap which is 2048x2048)
Polygon Counts:
~5800 polys, ~4000 vertices
Additional Credits:
Mesh credits: EA
Tools used: Milkshape 1.8.5, Mesh Toolkit (CMarNYC), CTU (Delphy), PS6, GIMP 2.0
Textures were cobbled together from EA textures and images found on Google Search

This is a new mesh, and means that it's a brand new self contained object that usually does not require a specific Pack (although this is possible depending on the type). It may have Recolours hosted on MTS - check below for more information.
MTS has all free content, all the time. Donate to help keep it running.

Install Instructions
Quick Guide:
1. Click the file listed on the Files tab to download the file to your computer.
2. Extract the zip, rar, or 7z file. Now you will have either a .package or a .sims3pack file.
For Package files:
1. Cut and paste the file into your Documents\Electronic Arts\The Sims 3\Mods\Packages folder. If you do not already have this folder, you should read the full guide to Package files first: Sims 3:Installing Package Fileswiki, so you can make sure your game is fully patched and you have the correct Resource.cfg file.
2. Run the game, and find your content where the creator said it would be (build mode, buy mode, Create-a-Sim, etc.).
For Sims3Pack files:
1. Cut and paste it into your Documents\Electronic Arts\The Sims 3\Downloads folder. If you do not have this folder yet, it is recommended that you open the game and then close it again so that this folder will be automatically created. Then you can place the .sims3pack into your Downloads folder.
2. Load the game's Launcher, and click on the Downloads tab. Find the item in the list and tick the box beside it. Then press the Install button below the list.
3. Wait for the installer to load, and it will install the content to the game. You will get a message letting you know when it's done.
4. Run the game, and find your content where the creator said it would be (build mode, buy mode, Create-a-Sim, etc.).
Extracting from RAR, ZIP, or 7z: You will need a special program for this. For Windows, we recommend 7-Zip and for Mac OSX, we recommend Keka. Both are free and safe to use.
