Warning. If bright garish colours aren't to your taste, look away now.

Built in 1893, this Victorian home is like something out of a fairy tale; its towering facade smiles down upon you from behind the hedging and roses. The colourful and whimsical interior await beyond to enchant you the moment you step foot inside.

This is a house I've been working on for quite some time, I've had to revise it many times, mainly for the staircase, although I'm quite happy with how it's turned out. My original inspiration for the house came from the film set for the first 'Nanny McPhee' film, hence why the interior is far more lavish with colour than my usual uploads. The film is one of my favourite (partly because of the house and partly because of Emma Thompson) and I really felt inspired to try something a bit different. I have a fondness for bright, garish, high Victorian style colour-schemes, and this lot gave me the chance to play about with them, regardless of how tasteful some of you may consider the results...

Lot Info:
The house is built on a 40 by 40 lot costing 255,317 Simoleons furnished and 172,252 Simoleons unfurnished.

Creator Notes:
The oven and all of the fireplaces have been upgraded to 'fireproof'.
Any issues? Let me know.
