Dogs collecting shinies fills Destruction motive

What does this mod do?

This is a tuning mod (ITUN) making dogs sniffing out collectables or digging up dog dig spots fill their destruction, bladder and fun motives (depending on the flavour you choose).

As much as it saddens me, I don't play with pets that often, as I like to keep my houses compact and routing can become a problem, but I read this WCIF thread and I had to agree with the OP, that it is a bit weird that digging up a plain hole fills the destruction motive, when digging up for collectables does not.

So I made some simple edits and added some advertising for DogDestruction when hunting for shinies. More precisely, Fido will now have his destruction motive filled when:

1) You select Fido and click on the Terrain to "Sniff out collectable".



2) You select a sim and click on Fido to "Go find..." (metal/rock/gem/something).



3) You select Fido and click on a dog dig spot to "Dig up" (which you can also find in buydebug).




I've also added two flavours to this mod:

1) Fido will have some Fun sniffing out and digging up the shinies.
2) Fido will also be able to relieve his Bladder, but only when sniffing out for shinies, as I thought when running around looking for treasures, Fido could also be marking up his territory and scenting the places he already visited...Well, it made sense in my head!

I'm open if you wanted me to do some edits.


How do I use this mod?

You can simply place the package in:
\Documents\Electronic Arts\The Sims 3\Mods\Packages

There are three flavours in total, only use one of them:

1. Hunting for collectables fills destruction for "Sniff out collectable", "Go find" and "Dig up".
2. Hunting for collectables fills destruction + fun for "Sniff out collectable", "Go find" and "Dig up".
3. Hunting for collectables fills destruction + fun + bladder for "Sniff out collectable" and "Go find" only. "Dig up" will still fill destruction and fun.

This mod was created with patch 1.67
This mod requires Pets to work.
This mod shouldn't conflict with any other mods as long as they don't modify the following resources:
