This build began a few years ago, and grew slowly over-time as something of a procrastination project. HOWEVER, finally, we are here. I have reached just about my PC's limit with this one, and thus have left a couple rooms bare (in the gatehouse).

The palace is otherwise fully furnished, and I had a lot of fun putting in small details. I have also had my sim walk around testing all the staircases and doors, and it all works flawlessly. However, sometimes I have clumped chairs together for looks and not all of these will work (but all those at tables will).

This build features 17 bedrooms and 9 bathrooms. I have tried to keep a period look overall, with extremely few globes used in lights (you will just have to pretend theyre shaded candles). However, the castle is also not supposed to look brand new. A lot of the woods are worn, patterns faded. I can imagine it's a little musty inside!

Final notes: Uses decor from all EPs, no stuff packs, store or CC were used. It may be a little difficult to run if your computer isn't a little beefy. (If it isnt running well for you, try enabling 'object hiding' in the graphics settings). Fireplaces are all upgraded to "fireproof".


Basement:
Kitchen only. I intended to create dungeons and such, but my PC is starting to hate this build. But this can be a project for you, the downloader!

Ground floor:
Entry hall, grand staircase, dining room, drawing room, ballroom, morning room, breakfast room, 2 bathrooms, 2 bedrooms with en suites.

1st floor:
Library, Queen's apartments (bedroom, dressing room, bathroom, drawing room, hidden door to esoteric library and exterior escape), King's apartments (bedroom, dressing room, bathroom), 3 bedrooms, sitting room.

2nd floor:
Art studio, study, 4 bedrooms, rumpus (billiards room, card room, smoking room, bathroom), nursery (sitting room, 2 bedrooms, bathroom), great gallery, bathroom.

3rd floor:
Storage, access to rooftops, servants' quarters.
