A few months ago I decided to start testing darker CAST patterns, and this house sort of took on its own shape and inspiration from the results. Its very, very dark woods and black paint just all seemed to come together better than I had previously thought, and make for some pretty dramatic rooms -- especially when it causes the coloured fabrics to leap right out.

The basement contains the kitchen (which I imagined as once being solely the domain of employed servants, but was renovated perhaps in the early 1900s to something alike a French-style, with the main residants first beginning to use the space for themselves), a breakfast area, wine racks, and a bathroom (which I imagined was perhaps once servants quarters as well, but was updated with the new kitchen; although it is still quite rustic.); On the main floor is a parlor with grand piano, dining room, powder room, and foyer with the sweeping staircase dominating the very tall room; the 2nd floor contains 2 bedrooms and a shared half-bathroom; the 3rd floor houses the master bedroom complete with ensuit; the 4th and final floor is the library (which also contains a secret room), the sunroom, and the only accessible balcony.

The home has been completely playtested (my current legacy family lives here); perhaps some mirrors will be inaccessible as some are placed decoratively, I can not recommend lighting the fires without first making them fireproof, or installing a suitable mod - they inhabit very cluttered areas.
