There's a real lack of desert flora in The Sims 3, even with addons like the Lucky Palms store world. The Sims 2, meanwhile, has some lovely plants - so I converted my favourite, the century plant. It comes in two presets - one with the TS2 texture as an overlay, and one with three recolourable channels.



The weird shape of the century plant means you can recolour it to look pretty alien, which makes it a way more versatile plant than you'd think. It can be found in Build / Shrubs for ?210.
