In sims 3, the graves show their cause of death. However, the poor watery grave death didn't have a special one... It simply didn't have a reference in code, so it used the default one(which is fire).

I wanted to work on this from long ago but I failed, due to it was behind UpdateMaterialState() method. After Monopatcher's release, I was so happy and I restarted to work on this.

What does this mod do:
This mod edited the watery grave and drowning while scuba diving plaques of all six graves in the game (present+future ver.). Additionally, it fixes the dehydration & Shark death that's missing plaque for the future ver.

This mod will affect existing saves; Terry Moldano's grave from starlight shores will be changed.

By default jetpack crash and time anomaly will receive future gravestone even if they died in the present. Download this mod to remove this behavior.

Update 06/28/25

Fixed a problem that the gravestones will revert back to old age on unowned residential lots. This mod now overrides all the MODL resources.

After tough works, I finally recolored all the graves!!!

The icon:

The icon I used is Plaque Death By Watery Grave From Sims 3 by Feri4ndy. The description seems to indicate there's somewhere in game file, but I couldn't find it. So I used this icon as a base.

I recolored it, and pasted on a plaque from another death type. To fix the parts that couldn't overlap, I cut some textures from other plaques and pasted it around. I hope it wasn't too noticeable (it's low quality like the ones pre-island paradise).
