This mod adds a chance for sims to die or lose a body skill point after a fight.
Highly configurable, too!

Details
Almost all of these can be customized in the tuning BCON (see screenshots)
  • At least one of the fighters has to be controllable for any consequences to occur, to avoid too much happening in the background while you don't play those sims.
  • It's more likely for the attacking sim to kill the other one than it is for the defending sim to kill the attacker (starting a fight implies intent to harm).
  • Usually, only those who lost the fight die. Winners may also die, if you allow it in settings, but they will only roll for it if the loser already started dying, to avoid the scenario where winner died and loser didn't. Technically, the winner waits for 3 minutes after the fight, and then it's decided.
  • Camera focuses on the dying sim, so you won't miss it.
  • The nicer the sim, the less likely they are to kill their opponent.
  • Low mood increases sim's chances to die.
  • Traits support: Evil are more likely to kill, Good are less likely to kill, Lucky can escape death. That said, traits are NOT required for any version of my mod, nothing will break if you don't have them.
  • Sims may lose a body skill point if they didn't die, realize a corresponding fear, and get a notification about it. Skill loss can happen when their Lucky trait saved them, or when they rolled a random number as rare as the one that would have them killed, or when they rolled death, but couldn't die for technical reasons, or because they are exempt from dying in BCON tuning. NPCs won't lose skill points (just in case they need them for their functions or something).
  • Sims get "died of hunger" death type.

Who can not die
  • First, who's tunable in BCON: kids, teens, NPCs, townies, playables, servo robots, lucky sims, sims in winner/loser and attacking/defending positions
  • Playable sims from currently non-active family, in other words, not selectable. There's a mod for that: killvisitingplayables
  • Sims residing in sim bin (playable sims without a house)
  • Sims last saved on any type of lot other than residential or hotel, i.e. owned community lot, apartment, dorm, unless it's a current lot (not sure if killvisitingplayables takes care of that)
  • Sims that are about to travel or if vehicle is waiting for them
  • Apartment neighbours and roommates can't die of hunger (my mod kills them with fright instead even if you chose the hunger type in BCON)
  • NPCs like Grim Reaper, Therapist, Ms. Crumplebottom, Social Bunny
  • Sims from family #0 - dead and special sims
  • Those who can not fight, i.e. toddlers

Requirements
Should be compatible with many versions: Ultimate Collection, Bon Voyage, and many others! May potentially work even in pre-Pets games, but I'm unsure about some parts of the code working in super old versions, I only tested in UC.
Choose only one version of the mod!

Versions
See screenshots for the detailed settings in each version. You may share your own versions of the mod, there are too many possible combinations for me to cover everything!
- Mild - the one I made for myself, pretty balanced
- Mild_Traits - same, but omits niceness and focuses more on traits
- Lite_Traits - less chance to die
- AllLosersDie - works for Test of Time challenge rules, still requires one of the sims to be controllable, so they don't drop like flies on community lots
- Deadly - violent version, almost extreme

Known Conflicts
- Simler90's Fight Mod - load my mod after his to get some of his features
- Squinge's FightFun - incompatible
- Squinge's FightFunNoRelChange - load my mod after his, maybe "no relationship change" feature will still work
- Pescado's Fight Club - you may have to remove one or the other
May conflict with other mods that modify "Fight - Attack" interaction (not the autonomy of it, though)

Recommended mods
- Kill Visiting Playables by kestrellyn - for playables from currently uncontrollable families to die
- Traits Project by hexagonal-bipyramid - if you want the benefits of trait settings. Again, you don't have to have them to use my mod
- My other mod that prevents sims from autonomously attacking the same sim if they have already been in a fight with them recently, effectively reducing fights to once in a few days for every given pair of sims, but that mod has yet to be released.
