Description:
Not technically a starter house, but almost: two independent and fully functional houses on the same lot for twice the price of one. For people who like row houses, or want to play two households at the same time for whatever reason.

This is my last upload made with the original game only -- from now on, everything will require Nightlife.


House 1 (left)
Furnished for 1-2 Sims, small garden with pool + porch. Some landscaping/decoration.

1 x double bedroom
1 x bathroom
1 x kitchen/dining
1 x livingroom
1 x spare room (unfurnished)


House 2 (right)
Furnished for 2-3 Sims, small garden with swing + porch. Some landscaping/decoration.

1 x double bedroom
1 x single bedroom
1 x bathroom
1 x kitchen/dining
1 x livingroom

Basic appliances included in both houses: lights, toilet (1x expensive), bathtub//shower/tub combo, fridge, kitchen sink, trashcan, phone, burglar alarm, smoke detector, bookshelf. House 1 also has a grill and a pool, house 2 a stove and a swing in the garden. NO room for driveways!

Expandability: Basement/second floor might be possible, other than that I don't think so.

Recommended hack: Use Inge Jones' keyholder doors for front doors (www.simlogical.com, under Downloads > TS2 > Hacked Doors), or a similar access management system -- otherwise your sims won't know which house is theirs.


Note:
If you get an "expansion pack data required" error upon installation, please try Clean Installer instead of the Maxis one. Apparently this is a known issue (not specific to this download), see this thread describing the problem and this post (daysies) explaining the workaround.
