With the release of 1.22 and Generations, the ability to choose how long each age group was enabled by EA, therefore this mod is no longer needed and will not be updated.

I've never been a big fan of the babies/toddlers in the Sims games. At best, they are annoying. When I came across this code section, I couldn't wait to try out the changes. No longer would I have to wait for age transitions or use the TestingCheats to age them up (I, personally have no use for the Birthday Cake), plus I have more time to cultivate relationships, reach the top of my career, and fulfill lifetime goals.

I use the "Normal" lifespan, as do most users, so this is how I will explain the changes. In the normal lifespan, sims have a life expectancy of 90 days. (If you have played for any length of time, you know they tend to surpass this, but that's another story)

DEFAULT: Baby - 3 days, Toddler - 7 days, Child - 7 days, Teens - 14 days, Young Adult - 21 days, Adults - 21 days, Elders - 17 days; TOTAL 90 Days

REVISED: Baby - 1 day, Toddler - 3 days, Child - 5 days, Teens - 11 days, Young Adults - 28 days, Adults - 28 days, Elders - 14 days; TOTAL 90 Days

So a major part of your sims lifespan is spent in young adult and adult, allowing you more time to raise a family, make friends, finish your career, go on vacation, fulfill your lifetime goal, etc.

Another change I made in this section, you will be notified 3 days prior to your sims birthday, the default is 2 days. Plenty of time to make arrangements if you don't want your sim to age up. NOTE: don't bother trying to do anything with your sim if you have already received the "It's (sims name) Birthday". This means no matter what you do, the sim will age up.

Now I don't pretend this is the ultimate aging system, it's one that works for me and you are welcome to use it or edit it to best fit your needs.

For those of you looking for a way to age a sim backward, there are currently two mods, I know of, which can do this:
Nraas SuperComputer A Script Mod
AwesomeMod A Core Mod

Yes, they are compatible and you can run both at the same time. Both offer a way to edit any sim in CAS.
