Cottage apartments originally was a two story affair with a garage tucked under, but when the budget went over the starter price the upstairs was demolished and everything was squashed into the first level. Turns out I actually like the one level home better.

There are three small, one bed, one bath self contained homes. Enough room for one or two Sims and is fully furnished but not decorated. There is an outdoor dining area, and an outdoor skilling area. There originally was a pool (where the chess table is) in back, but was also demolished to keep the price tag low. The tiles are still in place outlining the pool, so if your Sims are a bit better off you can add that back in and move the chess table under the Birch tree.

Each one is considered a starter (§14,373 each), but since it's on one large lot the finished price tag is a bit high. For those without Apartment Life, you will find various mods for door access at Simlogical. If you have Apartment Life just replace the main doors with the "Unique Separator" door (the one with rug attached).
