What This Mod Does

This is a requested mod that either increases or decreases the amount of time that a Singer, Acrobat or Magicians gigs will last/need to perform for (see attached screenshot below as an example).



There are four different versions to suit your preferences:

ShorterPerformerGigs(2hrs) - Decreases the length of performer gigs from 3 to 2 hours;

LongerPerformerGigs(4hrs) - Increases the length of performer gigs from 3 to 4 hours;

LongerPerformerGigs(5hrs) - Increases the length of performer gigs from 3 to 5 hours*;

LongerPerformerGigs(6hrs) - Increases the length of performer gigs from 3 to 6 hours**.

Reasoning Behind The Times Chosen

For the shorter time version, the reasoning is obvious, the average concert length is around two hours in duration, hence the choice to add a 2 hour version. For the 4 and 5 hour versions, the longest concert I've ever been to was 5 hours in length, hence why those times were also chosen. Finally, in terms of the 6 hour version, that's for those wanting a bit more of a challenge in keeping their Sims needs and moodlets in check. 7 hours is probably bordering too close to the needs of Sims depleting too much and also runs the risk of the Performance Clubs and Private Venues closing before the performance is finished so I stopped at 6 hours, although I haven't ruled out the possibility of uploading a 7 hour version also, if requested (as mentioned above).

Compatibility/Conflicts

This mod was made with the latest 1.32 Patch/Showtime but in order to get proper use out of this mod, you will need to have the Showtime Expansion installed so that you can actually be a Singer, Acrobat or Magician and perform gigs, which is specific to the Showtime expansion pack. If you do not have Showtime installed, this mod will be useless.

This mod edits the PerformanceCareer XML file and will conflict with any other mod that edits the same XML file.

Installation

Simply drag and drop/cut & paste/copy & paste the .package file into your Mods\Packages as normal.
