First off, this is probably the only time you will see me share something that could be considered 'modern'. Although the kind of modern style I was going for with this lot is inspired by the modern architecture of the 1940s, 1950s, 1960s and also 1970s, hence 'Mid-Century Modern'. It is a style I have seen on tv with shows such as 'Thunderbirds' although I saw the reruns in the 1990s when I was very young, I don't think my parents were even born before the original airings in the 1960s. I always loved the car, 'Fab 1', I may be a boy and the car may be pink, but it's such an awesome car, as seen here.
But back to the house...



The house is reasonably simple and sleek in style, there's large windows to let in the light and the surrounding views. There's even a patio to the rear of the property.



Inside the house you will find a large, open plan kitchen-diner which has been modernised to include a less garishly coloured kitchen. there are also 3 bedrooms, 3 bathrooms, a lounge and a garage.



Although the house still maintains its original bathrooms and bedroom decor.

The house is situated on a 40 by 40 lot which costs 116,705 Simoleons furnished and 76,006 Simoleons unfurnished. Originally built with basegame content, I decided to use a bed, some decorative pieces such as paintings, and a few other pieces of furniture and also a wall covering from ambitions, so it's not the end of the world if you don't have this expansion pack, you should be able to replace the missing aspects easily. Please bare in mind that this is my first 'successful' attempt at 'modern' architecture, but other than that, I hope you and your sims will enjoy this offering which I present to you.
