Maura and Tarik Verta~ albino twins

Tarik and Maura, who are twins, were born with a deficiency of melanin in their skin. In other words, they are albinos. Tarik's eyes are red due to their lack of color (it reflects the blood vessels behind his eyes). And Maura was born with violet eyes- which is extremely rare. This is a combination of blue pigment, but it still lacks some color, so her eyes reflect some red as well. Combining the two brings about violet eyes.

You would think that they are insecure about their different looks. But they aren't. "We work just as well as anyone else anyway. We are just paler", Maura remarked once. While they weren't quite sure about how they should feel about themselves as children, they were encouraged at an early age to embrace their differences.



Tarik: Tarik is the sweet kind of guy girls would love to be with, but don't think they want. He is no player, no swoon-worthy man (or so sim ladies first think). Tarik is a down to Earth all around friendly guy- he is just a naturally happy person. He enjoys being outside, reading, and painting.

Maura: When Maura was eighteen and she got her first boyfriend is when she truly embraced her albino nature. He had told her that she is so beautiful, like a porcelain doll. Maura has been described as having 'alabaster' skin, and has since more than embraced her pale skin- though even before then she didn't feel especially bad about herself.

Either you love Maura, or you can't stand her. It's not that she is bad exactly- not at all. She can be a little hyper sometimes... she is a very excitable person. She also loves to laugh a lot.

Despite her petite stature and supposed non-serious demeanor, she is no coward. She will be the first to help in a tradgedy. She loves to help people in any way she can. She especially loves to find ways to reduce her carbon foot print. She loves her family, and she and her brother have always been close. She can't wait to have a family, she hopes to have five children.

IMPORTANT:

I use master controller as my slider hack to get his face to look like this (facial sliders on x3, body sliders same as default), or you can use some other slider hack. MC is found here
Also, make sure you downlod the custom content for the sim(s) you want, and at the bottom of the lists is CC/sliders used on both sims.

Their skin is packaged with regular default skin. I didn't use a white skin tone on them! I wanted to make them rather realistic, so I did. True albinos don't always have pure white hair and skin, as Maura and Tarik don't.
