Title: Four Baby Doll Meshes, with Recolours

Purpose

1) To make available a decorative baby that can be freely included in uploaded lots.

2) To supply a variety of baby body recolours that celebrate the beautiful diversity of both human and Sim skintones.

3) To also include a selection of diaper recolours, with emphasis on pre-modern materials.

Contents

1) The baby is supplied in Resting, Sleeping, Sitting and Standing packages. The Resting pose is the Master mesh (sdBabyDollBG-Master.package), so it must be included in a Downloads folder for the other poses to work. Each of the four models is available from the General/Child catalogue for §42.

Like similar baby dolls, this object is derived from the Vincent's Sim Modder mesh introduced with Nightlife. The standing version is very similar to the original mesh, with minor fixes to get rid of holes and redundancies.

Viewing these dolls will build Charisma skill and Nature enthusiasm (if FreeTime, Apartment Life or Mansion & Garden is installed).

The doll may be placed on all standard surfaces, and can be put in a crib using "MoveObjects On" or the Apartment Life / Mansion & Garden adjustable height feature. This object is immune to theft, repossession, fire and snowfall.

2) The doll is distributed with 16 body skintone and eye colour combinations, including EA's built-in S1 default.

3) The download also includes 25 diaper colours, including EA's white plastic built-in default.

Terms of Use

You may include any items from this set in uploaded lots, whether for free or pay. Please include a credit and link to this page. I would enjoy receiving a PM with a link to your uploaded creation, but that is not required.

Additional Credits

Numenor's AnyGameStarter, used for testing this project in several game environments
SimPE, PJSE, and CEP for Sims 2 object creation
StephSim for inspiring this project after a fruitless search for a baby doll that could be uploaded with a lot that has a nativity scene. Two photos of this medieval scene are shown in the thread
Wikipedia's skin and eye colour articles were used as references when developing the baby doll body recolours
