With many thanks to Sim real estate locator, Sjader, I present this upscale, modern house of today. It's rather huge with 5 bedrooms and 4 baths, not to mention attached garage, hobby room, family room, and home office along with the usual living, dining, and kitchen. My test Sim, Jimmy Phoenix, whom I got from the family bin having never played with him before, wanted to save money on the decorating since he was way overstretched on the house itself. A decorator to the Sims told him she would use items from her " boneyard" which would save a tremendous amount. Because of this, the house is decorated with a lot of faux zebra fabric, mixed tiles of various sorts blended together to make bathrooms, carpet remnants sown together to make area rugs, and gallons of white paint. The decorator did splurge on the brick wall focal point for the family room (made by LadyAngel@SimFansUK) and the wood cabinets by CTNutmeggar. Other than that, most things cost one simoleon per grid. Still, a huge house is expensive, any way you look at it.
