"Country Fashion Boutique & Residential Home"
If your sim is lazy like a bone and doesn't want to go to work everyday... why not bring the work to him/her? Let's start a home business now with this little "Country Fashion Boutique"!
Your sim is extra lazy and doesn't even want to work at home? Never mind, he/she can use the "Country Fashion Boutique" for self-improvement or as a walk-in wardrobe. In that case (=extra lazy sims) your sim may be more interested in the amenities of this residential home, e.g. the big swimming pool with lounge chairs in front of it, the outdoor grill area with a table for three and a vegetable garden for the extra fresh food.
Now, pack your "Siebensachen" and move in to this cozy little country home!

My sim playtested (a copy of) this house for about two days, everything worked perfectly inside and outside the house except the chess table and the washing basin in the recreation room. I guess it's because of the cabinet above the washing basin and because I placed the chess table with moveobjects. I'd like to leave it up to you whether these items get repositioned/removed or not. I'm sorry about that, I've liked the room as it is now.
This house was originally built for the "Foundational Building" Social Group (with game version 4.2) and had a lot of Store Items included. I removed most of the store items so that you won't have to buy too much extra stuff if you'd like to add this lot to your game. I checked the file with CUSTARD (big thanks to Delphy for this amazing tool) to make sure that there is nothing included that doesn't belong there.
There's no custom content, no custom patterns but some premium content from the Sims 3 Store used for this build. Some of it is free and most of it is not required for the lot to work in game, you can easily replace those items if you wish.
Store items (not included in this download):
- Shoppe Counter – costs 50 SimPoints -
- Pastoral Reflections – costs 25 SimPoints -
- Faire Curtain – costs 75 SimPoints -
- Strike-em-out Chair – costs 100 SimPoints -
- Winter Wall Wreath – free „Happy Holidays Presents“ set -
- Thanksgiving Wall Shelf – free „Harvest Bounty“ set -
- Thanksgiving Pumpkin by Angela's Designs – free „Harvest Bounty“ set -
- Leaftastic & Topper & Terra (plants) – free „Earth Day“ set

Important: This lot uses also the „K2 Ivy“ and „The Legendary Wind Raker“ which is part of the free „The Sims 3 Prius, Eco Pack and Celebration Pack“ set (link to US sims3.com site) – if you own the free „The Sims 3 Renault Twizy Z.E. And Bonus EV Pack (link to GB sims3.com site) please replace the K2 Ivy with „Ivy Tower“ (in „misc. Decor“) and The Legendary Wind Raker with „Wind Reaper“ (in „misc. Decor“). Both versions are identical and only use different names. If you think the link doesn't work, please make sure that you have chosen GB or US english in the language settings at your sims3.com site (depending on which link you'd like to open).

2. Select the .sims3pack file you got from extracting.
3. Cut and paste it into your Documents\Electronic Arts\The Sims 3\Downloads folder. If you do not have this folder yet, it is recommended that you open the game and then close it again so that this folder will be automatically created. Then you can place the .sims3pack into your Downloads folder.
5. Load the game's Launcher, and click on the Downloads tab. Select the house icon, find the lot in the list, and tick the box next to it. Then press the Install button below the list.
6. Wait for the installer to load, and it will install the lot to the game. You will get a message letting you know when it's done.
7. Run the game, and find your lot in Edit Town, in the premade lots bin.
Extracting from RAR, ZIP, or 7z: You will need a special program for this. For Windows, we recommend 7-Zip and for Mac OSX, we recommend Keka. Both are free and safe to use.
