Tired of the social groups influence effects from the University Life expansion pack appearing every time your sim plays a video game or tosses around a football and inevitably ruining an otherwise picture-perfect moment? Well, no more! This mod removes the plus and minus sign popups from all three social groups, the rebels, the jocks, and the nerds. The social groups system stays fully intact, but those stupid effects no longer show up.


Want to play a more realistic version of the game, but still interested in having fairies in your world? Well, I have a solution- no more fairy wings! Although they're quite pretty to look at, I prefer my supernaturals to be able to blend in with other non-occult sims around town, and this mod makes that possible. I have also created a separate version that removes the sparkles from fairy babies, if those bother you as well.

This upload includes five separate mods. They all override the same resource (Sims3Effects EA5118B00:0051185B:AE1859FADE0A9056), SO ONLY USE ONE. They are:

• Social Groups Influence Effects Begone!- Removes the social groups influence effects (the plus and minus sign popups).
• Fairy Wings Begone!- Removes the fairy wings.
• Fairy Wings & Baby Fairy Sparkles Begone!- Removes the fairy wings and the baby fairy sparkles.
• Fairy Wings Begone! + Social Groups Influence Effects Begone!- Removes the fairy wings AND the social groups influence effects.
• Fairy Wings & Baby Fairy Sparkles Begone! + Social Groups Influence Effects Begone!- Removes the fairy wings and the baby fairy sparkles AND the social groups influence effects.

Created with velocitygrass' incredibly cool No Effects Mod Tool, these mods will conflict with any other effect mods that were created with this program. This includes velocitygrass' No Mosaic mod and any other fairy wing mods. If you would like a version of any of my mods that is compatible with the No Mosaic mod or another effect mod, please feel free to leave me a comment or send me a PM and I'll see what I can do. It IS compatible with NRaas Decensor, however, so I highly recommend that mod if you want to get rid of the mosaic blur. Furthermore, if you're concerned about a conflict, try using Delphy's Dashboard to check the compatibility or post in the comments section and I can let you know.

No Mosaic Blur Edition:

After a couple of requests, I decided to go ahead and make a No Mosaic Blur version of this mod. It acts the same as velocitygrass' No Mosaic mod, but it combines my effect alterations as well. It is still incompatible with velocitygrass' No Mosaic mod, however, so if you already have it please make sure to remove it before using one of my mods. Here are the four versions of my mod that include the No Mosaic Blur mod addition:

• Social Groups Influence Effects Begone! + No Mosaic Blur- Removes the social groups influence effects (the plus and minus sign popups) AND the mosaic blur (the blur that appears whenever your sims shower or go to the bathroom or whatever).
• Fairy Wings Begone! + No Mosaic Blur- Removes the fairy wings AND the mosaic blur.
• Fairy Wings & Baby Fairy Sparkles Begone! + No Mosaic Blur- Removes the fairy wings and the baby fairy sparkles AND the mosaic blur.
• Fairy Wings & Baby Fairy Sparkles Begone! + Social Groups Influence Effects Begone! + No Mosaic Blur- Removes the fairy wings and the baby fairy sparkles AND the social groups influence effects AND the mosaic blur.
