What Is This Mod?
Similar to Sleepy-Genius's Taxi Charge Mod and SimsMatthew's Subway Charge Mod, this is a scripting mod that charges sims for using the ZEPHYR system in Oasis Landing or custom worlds with a custom ZEPHYR track. It also charges sims for hover taxi rides, something Sleepy-Genius's mod is unfortunately unable to do.
The hover taxi fare is 20 Simoleons, and the ZEPHYR system fare is 15 Simoleons. Teens receive a 25% discount, and children and elders receive a 50% discount. These values are tunable; see below for more info.
Sims riding a ZEPHYR system in a custom world who do not have enough money to pay for their ride will have the cost added to their household's unpaid bills. Since there are no bills in Oasis Landing, sims who do not have enough money to cover a transportation charge in the future will have a random object repossessed from their current home as compensation. If the sim does not own or is not currently living in their own home, the community living center will cover the cost, making their ride free. (What can I say? There's a great welfare system in the future!)

To add a little bit of flavor to the world, sims will be designated as "Citizens" when riding the ZEPHYR system if they are living in their own home and as "Residents" if they are living in the community living center.
Tuning and Translations
The cost of both hover taxis and the ZEPHYR system is tunable for each age group -- children, teens, young adults/adults, and elders. These values can be found in the "Gamefreak130.FutureTransportCharge.Main" XML resource and changed using the text editor in S3PE or a similar package editing program. The values can also be set to 0 if you want a particular age group or vehicle to be free.
Currently, only English and Polish are supported. Translations are very welcome and much appreciated; formatted string tables and unhashed keys have been provided in the package if you wish to help.
Compatibility and Uninstallation
Built, tested, and (mostly) working on game version 1.69. It may work on earlier versions, but it has not been tested; do so at your own risk.
Technically, no expansion packs are required for this mod to run, but without the Into the Future expansion pack, it will be very useless.
As this mod does not replace any existing resources, conflicts with other mods should be next-to-nonexistent -- that is, unless some doppelganger is using my exact namespaces.

Uninstallation should not create a huge problem -- simply remove the mod from the packages folder. However, to avoid potential game problems, it is good practice to ensure no sims are riding a hover taxi or ZEPHYR train. After removal or update of the mod, it is recommended that you delete the "ScriptCache.package" file from your Userdata folder.
