What Is This Mod?
This is a script mod that replaces the "Check for Diving Work" interaction with a generic "Check Work" interaction for all Rabbitholes and all skill-based opportunities. As of 26 December 2019, it also allows Scuba Diving opportunities to be received via random phone calls, rather than being restricted to the "Check Work" interaction. Note that the Island Paradise expansion pack is NOT required for this interaction to work.

All Rabbitholes that can be the target of a skill-based opportunity will have the interaction appear. When a sim visits the Rabbithole, the game will choose an opportunity at random based on the sim's skills; the opportunity can then be accepted or rejected like any other opportunity offer. This interaction will not spawn career opportunities, nor will it spawn special opportunities, such as "Oh My Ghost," that are not tied to any specific skills.

If a sim cannot accept any skill opportunities at the Rabbithole for whatever reason, the following notification will appear:



Tunings and Translations
There is no XML tuning associated with this mod -- shocking, I know.

Currently, the following languages are supported:
  • English
  • French
  • Russian
  • Swedish
Translations are very welcome and much appreciated; formatted string tables and unhashed keys have been provided in the package if you wish to help.

Compatibility and Uninstallation
Built, tested, and (mostly) working on game version 1.69. It may work on earlier versions, but it has not been tested; do so at your own risk.

As stated earlier, NO expansion packs are required for this mod to run. This mod replaces the "Check for Diving Work" interaction, and will conflict with any other mod that does the same.

Uninstallation should not create a huge problem -- simply remove the mod from the packages folder. However, to avoid potential game problems, it is good practice to ensure that no sims are checking for work in a Rabbithole before removal. After removal or update of the mod, it is recommended that you delete the "ScriptCache.package" file from your Userdata folder.
