This is another one of my renovated lots. There aren't many pre-created lots in the game that I have kept over the years, but this is one I liked and renovated early on after getting the Pets expansion pack.

I believe the original lot was home to the Katz family, hence it's name. As I liked the original shape I wanted to create an upstairs and utilise the outdoor space better. The original lot had a style of a forest setting, but I wanted to make it more suburban and cottage-esque. I liked the use of the red panels and windows, but instead swapped the styles for something more vibrant. Instead of the grey bricks, I used a cream brick with a yellow window panel. I'm not usually a fan of homes that are too multi-coloured and hotch-potch, but something about this exterior reminded me of Wisteria Lane.

The home now has 2 upstairs bedrooms as well as the original downstairs bedroom that can be used as either a third, or an additional reception room. The upstairs also includes 2 bathrooms, in addition to the original one downstairs. For this package, I've added a modern kitchen, as well as a greenhouse outside. With my fittings the lot value is $45,125. Completely unfurnished the mere lot value is only around $30,800 - which I find surprisingly cheap.
