A modified Ray's Test Object with new functions for creating or inviting any sim from the whole neighborhood for debugging or scenario purposes, and for transfering sims from one family into another existing or new one. All of Ray's original functions are available in debug mode (Shift).

The object can be purchased from the catalog under Electronics -> All or created by executing "Spawn.../Ray's Test Object" on any person in debug mode, effectively available on community lots as well.

All expansion pack families are labeled. Non-player characters are further sorted by their work role and age. Named playable families include their number to prevent them from merging if they have the same name. The members of each can be invited all at once.

People can be created in a few ways:
  • Instant creation will make a sim appear without any time passing.
  • Invited sims will arrive almost immediately from the edge of the lot as if they had been called over telephone.
  • Scheduling or creation as NPC are experimental options that aren't very useful. They may cause some NPCs to begin working if their script allows it without a custom setup.
  • Scheduling as a walkby will make a residential lot walkby who may linger at the mailbox. Creation as a walkby will make a community lot populator's walkby instantly. He doesn't need to be greeted and may window-shop.
The option "Make Instant Selectable" makes the person controllable, but still autonomous. He will have limited visitor's choices for interactions, useful for testing them. The following two options are dangerous and should not be used. "Instant duplicates" allows to make multiples of the same person for fun. "Remove ghost status" will resurrect the person with limited success.

The choice "From a Dialog" allows to use the phone book or party view to search for people graphically. These dialogs differ in that they sort by the first or last names. "Related" shows a subset of people whom the active sim knows. The game needs to be unpaused for the dialog, unlike in my other mods.

The command "Move to Family" at the end of the menu can be used to transfer any person or pet present on the lot to any other family, regardless of their visitor status or age.

The * New Family choice will create a new family in the sim bin with only one member. "Uni" will put it in the University neighborhood where teens and young adults usually go. The new family will use the first available number and usually appear last on the list, and can be chosen to put more people into it.

Putting people into reserved families will make them appear in the respective neighborhoods or become available for adoption. To make a functional NPC, other tools must be used to set his role after or before he is added to the NPC family.

"Service NPCs" allows to spawn a selection of common workers that arrive on home lots by car. Exercise caution before inviting the social worker.

The object warns before creating known unusual, incomplete NPCs. Dead people can be created instantly, either as haunting ghosts or resurrected. Inviting anybody from the Default family should be done with care.

The menu is somewhat slow because of multiple sorting passes through neighbors.
