Trio Lake Sights: Railway Station

Features:
  • There is all-in-one station master's room.
  • There is parlour room with Model Train Set in it.
  • There is one bathtub in the scullery.
  • There is one toilet stall on the platform.
  • Two places for public - changing booth at janitor's and photo booth on the platform.
  • No items for pets on this lot.
  • All bushes near the platform are accessible for trimming without any mods.
  • Obviously this house shares the strict rules of my Victorian neighborhood. It has no TVs and no computers, no smoke detectors and no burglar alarms. There are basins in bedrooms and no bathrooms for poor. There is more information about Trio Lake Borough rules in my Creators Feedback Forum thread.

No CC was used

There are some CC mods used and shown up in screens but not mandatory to install:
General tips to place and use the lot:
  • There are two lot versions different only by gates. There are closed gates and open gates. Choose any. No need to choose both. It is very simple to edit one to another actually.
  • Install any using default Sims 2 Pack Installer or S2PCI.
  • Download CC of your choice and install it according to its description.
  • Find it in your lot bin and place. Preview shows the building on desert terrain. I shared it from Service Area by Sokisims. Not released yet, those neighborhood can be found here. Please check out their neighborhood and give them feedback.
  • Due to those fact this lot is modified with Lot Adjuster, it has very niche placement between two roads. And you have no chance to change it.
  • In order to place the railway road neighborhood decoration the way it is placed on vanity pictures you should use certain mods.
  • Platforms are placed right on pedestrian routes so all pedestrians will climb and pass both platforms from time to time. They will also cross the junction to move from one platform to another.
  • Remember that tiles between pathway and carriageway shown on screenshots will skip to default after you place the lot. You can fill it yourself as needed using moveobjects on cheat. Those area is not changing total lot price.
  • Playtested on copy of house with two sims.
  • Lot has been compressed and cleaned by ChrisHatch's tool.
  • House has one pool tile, minimum of requirements for custom water shaders to work.

Known bugs, issues and tips:
  • If you'll have here nursery, there is a bug with toilet stall on this lot (same as many others in my neighborhood). Sims cannot flush potty remains in toilet stall. They go to it then making shrug animation and switch to another way to dispose it. Those other way will dispose it into trash bin on the platform. I suggest you not to have toddlers on this lot

I hope the reason you left building project is not the case I made laugh of your house. You made many precious houses for my neighborhood and your train station was the only far from I wanted. I really appreciate your work!
