v2.7 outfits selection 2.png - width=1224 height=2434
A lab coat for teen Sims.
That's right: No item cloning, no custom content, these are the real deal objects that Maxis used when developing the game and its expansion packs.
This mod makes approximately 342 objects available in one or more of Buy Mode (often in BuyDebug), Build Mode, Edit Town, and/or Create-a-Sim, contingent on the relevant expansion packs and/or one stuff pack being installed. For instance, if only the base game is installed and nothing else, approximately 90 objects would be made available by this mod.
To avoid massive gamebreakers that would make general gameplay trivially easy, certain items have had their prices changed from §0. Such price changes are marked below.
Unless specified below (if relevant), the objects below are listed in "Buydebug > Misc."
———Works perfectly———
• 13 billboards from the base game, Late Night, and Pets, depending on the relevant expansion packs being installed.

• (v1.1) The following objects are made available on residential lots, having previously only been available on community lots: Searchlight, 2 flagpoles (Buy Mode > Decorations > Misc.), Munici-Pale Trashcan (Buy Mode > Appliances > Misc.), gender doors, community wall speakers (Buy Mode > Electronics > Audio), (WA) obelisk, large boulders from World Adventures, 2 large planters from Late Night and Showtime, (S) Love Inspector (Buy Mode > Entertainment > Party), (S) face painting booth (Buy Mode > Entertainment > Misc.), (IP) Grand Arch of Arches (non-bell version, as it was deemed the best to build floors on top of), and (IP) houseboat trashcans (Buy Mode > Appliances > Misc.)
• (v2.0) Standalone selection box for "Cement Railings" (Build Mode > Stairs > Railings)
• (v2.0) Shang Simla Forbidden City bridge archs.

• (v2.2, G) 11 chemistry lab potions.
• (v2.3, base, WA, LN, IP and ITF) 44 sealife wallmounts, namely the ones where Sims were supposed to send their caught fish in the mailbox. (Buydebug > Fish Spawners)
• (v2.4, S) 3 reward decors that Sims are given for sticking in the same workplace for 3, 5 and 7 in-game years respectively.
• (v2.5) Gardening weeds. (Build Mode > Shrubs)
• (v2.5, LN) Large pointy statue. (Buy Mode > Decor > Sculptures)

• (v2.5, SN) Gardening competition trophy.
• (v2.5, ITF) Stardust bottle.
• (v2.5, ITF) Dark Matter.
• (v2.5, ITF) A large banner showing blue skies and sunlight.
• (v2.5, ITF) Rusty pipe.
• (v2.5, ITF) Abandoned Plumbot arm on ground.
• (v2.6, Pets) The horse competition trophies for racing, jumping, and cross-country.
• (v2.6, ITF) The activation item for the Sims 4 dream pod dream option.
• (v2.6, ITF) The activation items for two Sims 4 projection wall options.
• (v2.7) A version of Mysterious Mr. Gnome with gold clothes and a timber axe, who would normally only temporarily show up if a Sim tries the "Putt Putt Gnome" billiards trick.
• (v2.7) 3 drinking glasses (2 of them for LN) that come with functioning drinks that give the "Sugar Rush" moodlet. (Appliances > Small Appliances)
• (v2.7) The base game foundations' tiles, now available as normally selectable tiles in Build Mode.
• (v2.7, LN) A type of debris trash that is spawned after bar fights.
• (v2.7, LN) A standalone version of the towel that failed skinny-dippers would normally put on, now also able to select in CAS for Everyday and Swimwear.
• (v2.7, G) Child outfits that would normally only be available from the costume chest, for instance the princess dress. (Formal only for now.)
• (v2.7, G) Child ballet/scout afterschool outfits in CAS, as child Sims do not easily seem to have editable career outfits even with "unlockoutfits on". (Formal only for now.)
• (v2.7, G) Lab coats for children and teens. (Formal only for now.)
• (v2.7, S) The King and Queen winner plaquets for the Spring Festival dance contest.
———Works with small caveats———
• Janie Point Lighthouse (Incorrectly claims "Hot Tub cannot be placed due to obstruction underneath", but can be placed with MoveObjects. The front entrance flickers quite a bit.)
• Mine Entrance. (Same as above, but without any flicker.)
• Teleportation Pad (Only works on residential lots.)
• Snow Maker (The snow vanishes when zooming into it, and it creates an odd shadow a floor above.)
• (WA) Al Simhara wooden shipwreck (Needs MoveObjects to place.)
• (WA) Sultan's Tabernacle (Buy Mode > Comfort > Beds; No permanently mounted version exists.)
• (LN) Food truck (Buy Mode > Vehicles > Cars/Misc.; If NRaas Traveler is installed, the food truck will vanish after some seconds.)
• (LN) Wall Mailbox (Only works on residential lots; vanishes when placed on a public lot.)
• (G) Imaginary Friend Doll (Buy Mode > Children > Toys; Adults without the Childish trait, are limited to "Pick Up Doll" and "Carrying Doll". Price set to §850.)
• (ST) Hoi Polloi Event Center (Works as intended, but the shell's perimeter has some empty archs, and the shell façade vanishes when entering Buy Mode on its lot.)
• (ST) The Binder Clips Center.
• (ST) Genie Lamp. (Only works on residential lots. Price set to §9,375.)
• (ST) Proprietor Placement. (Fully functional, but it's never been clear to me what exactly it does.)
• (ITF) Debris Site. (Sim will dig infinitely unless the debris is clicked on to choose a treasure. If it's unset, or the treasure is set to continuous, the Sim will dig indefinitely unless interrupted or has low motives.)
• (ITF) Meteor Magnet. (Must be placed in a Sim's inventory to be able to use it.)
• (v1.1, ST) Ring of Fire (Buy Mode > Entertainment > Misc.; Non-functional by default, but can be placed in inventories.)
• (v1.1, ST) Stage floor lights. (Buy Mode > Lighting > Floor Lamps; Non-functional by default, but can be placed in inventories.)
• (v2.0) Create-A-Sim pedestal in Buy Mode (Sims cannot stand on them, and a blue hover note will be shown when the mouse hovers over it.)
• (v2.0, High-End Loft) Standalone version of Das Kauker's amplifier (Won't do anything besides being decorative)
• (v2.0, LN) "Edit Town" long fences (Does not include the car roads that most of the fences were intended to be used with)
• (v2.3) Standalone version of the butterfly terrarium that normally only shows up when moving a caught butterfly from a Sim's inventory to a lot. (Buydebug > Insect Spawners; Insects seemingly cannot be moved into it)
• (v2.3) Butterfly floor object. (Buydebug > Insect Spawners; The butterfly doesn't really do anything, and cannot easily be moved to another tile after having initially been placed.)
• (v2.3, ST) Standalone version of the glowbug terrarium that normally only shows up when moving a caught glowbug from a Sim's inventory to a lot. (Buydebug > Insect Spawners; Insects seemingly cannot be moved into it)
• (v2.3, ITF) Standalone version of the nanite terrarium that normally only shows up when moving a caught nanite from a Sim's inventory to a lot. (Buydebug > Insect Spawners; Insects seemingly cannot be moved into it)
• (v2.4.1) The residential roadside large grey trashcan on public lots, and can also be bought more than 1 of on residential lots. (Buy Mode > Appliances > Misc.; If 3 or more are on a residential lot, then saving, quitting, and reloading the game will reduce it to 2. On community lot it reduces it to 0.)
• (v2.5) The version of the above trashcan that is used in Oasis Landing. (Buy Mode > Appliances > Misc.)
• (v2.5, ITF) Legacy Statue. (Generating sculptures of the Sims only occurs in Oasis Landing, and even then only when the Sim travels from the present to Oasis Landing; being in Oasis Landing already will not work.)
• (v2.6, UL) The student service booth from the Student Union. (Buy Mode > Surfaces > Misc.; Doesn't have any options when placed elsewhere than Sims University, except if additional gamemods are used to make the Sim a university student in a non-"Sims University" world.)
• (v2.7, LN) A streetlight listed as being used in Bridgeport. (The streetlight does not actually light up.)
• (v2.7, IP) House boat deck default tiles, now available as normally selectable tiles in Build Mode. (The game's complicated handling of floors' object data made it difficult to tell which tiles that were new or not.)
• (v2.7, ITF) Plumbot legs for humans, which makes it possible to play as de facto cyborgs, prosthetics amputees, or Rayman-esque. (While almost all Plumbot parts regardless of body part work great for active Sims, they worked considerably worse for auto-spawned Sims, such that all non-leg parts had to be omitted to avoid very, very strange Sims from spawning; Sims who use midriff shirts will still look a bit odd. The legs will have some colours change to match the Sim's shoes and shirts. Hovering Plumbot parts will still have shoes showing up under the Sim. Only young adults and adults can use the parts, and only for Everyday for now.)
———Works with major caveats———
• Public Picnic Spot (Active Sims cannot actually use them; only NPCs can.)
• (AMB) City Map. (Halfway stuck in the ground.)
• (S) Igloo. (Results in a horseshoe-shaped ring when placed. If there's snow on the ground, Sims can choose to "Resume Building".)
• (ITF) Hot Springs Bubble Spawner (Refuses to be placed on lots even with MoveObjects, doesn't work in seawater, often lacks visual effects even in freshwater. I'd instead recommend placing the object with NRaas Debug Enabler > Create Object > BubblingSprings,EP11. Some additional values have been tuned to increase the effects and diameter of the bubbles.)
• (v2.0) Shuttle Assembly Station (A near-major glitch, means that when an object is in both a FullBuild and a DeltaBuild game file, gamemods will be unable to force that object to show up in "Edit Town" Landmarks. They can however be found in BuyDebug, but will need MoveObjects to be placed.)
• (v2.0, WA) Champs Les Sims aqueducts, train tunnel, and train (Same situation as Shuttle Assembly Station)
• (v2.0, WA) Shang Simla Great Wall (Same situation as Shuttle Assembly Station)
• (v2.0, LN) "Edit Town" "Old Docks" (Once placed, they cannot be deleted through currently known methods)
———Didn't work at all (Therefore not included in the mod)———
• Working stoves or microwaves on public lots. (No commands showed up when clicking on them.)
• Limousines and taxis (Sims didn't seem particularly interested in driving in them, and they're borderline impossible to place in Sim inventories anyway.)
• Various exceptionally rare floor tiles, incl. an alternate Floors selection option for Flat Roof. (The game seemed to struggle to make more than a few of the hidden tiles easily visible in Build Mode; I personally suspect the same glitch as for Space Assembly Station but I'm not 100% sure if that's the case for all of the tiles.)
• (WA) Nectar bottle. (Results in a bottle with no quality value. Trying to drink it will reset the Sim.)
• (LN) Bridgeport's radio tower cluster. (While it worked correctly, it had no apparent benefits at all compared to the base game's single tower.)
• (ST) Box of Danger. (No available interactions, and in fact isn't even clickable.)
• (ST) Box of Mystery. (Same as above.)
• (SN) Alchemy elixirs. (I've tried everything possible and plausible to try to make working potions show up, and failed at all attempts.)
• (S) Weather Stone (The actual stone is missing, and it refuses to be placed even with MoveObjects. It can however be spawned with NRaas Debug Enabler > Create Object > WeatherStone,EP8)
• (IP) Resort buildings on regular public lots (Sims were unable to interact with them.)
• (IP) Resort food stands on regular public lots (Despite staff being assigned to the stands, the staff never arrives.)
• (IP) Resort buffet tables on regular public lots. (No known way to make them spawn food.)
• (IP) Resort front desks on regular public lots. (Produces an obscure warning, about that the lot would automatically be changed to Resort if going back to Edit Town without removing the desk.)
• (IP) Pre-placed beach towel. (Turns out that Sims couldn't choose to lay down on pre-placed towels.)
• (ITF) Curious Dew (Results in an empty bottle that does nothing. Placing it on a residential lot will softlock the game.)
• (ITF) ZEPHYR station and train pylons (Merely placing stations and pylons along a path, doesn't seem to make it possible to ride the ZEPHYR from a station.)
• (ITF) Plumbot torsos for humans (They generally didn't connect well to the Sims' heads and pants, making them unsuited for when the game auto-spawns Sims.)
• (ITF) Plumbot arms for humans. (For unknown reasons the game considers Plumbot arms to be shoes; so if a human had Plumbot arms, their feet would disappear.)
• (ITF) Plumbot heads/headgears for humans. (Seemingly treated by the game as hats, resulting in very, very, very strange-looking auto-spawning Sims.)
———Notes———
• The mod is known to make the following other mods superfluous:
• • University Life Group Project Un-hider
• • FoodTruck Enabled
• • Unlocked Permanent Tents for Residential and Community Lots
• • Buyable and deletable Imaginary Friend Doll
• • Late Night - Buyable Mailbox and Trash Chute
• • Late Night Cranes Unlocked
• • Generations Costumes Unlocked
• • Teen Lab Coats Unlocked
• • Late Night Sculptures Unlocked
• Should there be a demand for it, I can add the NRaas Debug Enabler "Create Object" codes for most or all of the above objects.
• It is expected that the mod's users use "By Function" while in Buy Mode to access most of the objects. I have limited experience with "By Room" mode, so it was hard to tell how room subcategories worked like, and which room category combos that were valid.
• • The main image is a "Best of" of sorts, showing around 2/3rds of the v1.0 non-boulder unlocked objects, as it wouldn't be practically possible to place e.g. Hoi Polloi and Binder Clips Center in the same screenshot. Its resolution is fairly large, so it is possible to discern objects down to circa 1x1 square in it by zooming in.
• The gamemod has virtually zero conflicts with Simport Rewards Unlocked by velocitygrass, and both can safely be used at the same time unless otherwise proven.
• • As of v2.7, there are no known conflicts with BuyDebug Sandcastles now in World Editor by Shimrod101 or Sickly Tree Unlocked - A Desert Tree (Edit Town and Build Mode) by sasdad either.
———Update log———
• 24 April 2025: v2.7 update. The gamemod's first dealing with Create-a-Sim clothes, mostly for Late Night, Generations, and ITF; and the first with flooring tiles, mostly foundation-specific tiles. Also unhides a unique Mr. Gnome design, singular juice drinks, Seasons spring dance awards, and special Late Night scenic items.
• 15 February 2025: v2.6 update. Added 3 objects from Pets (The horse competition trophies), 1 from University Life (The service booth from the Student Union), and 3 from Into the Future (The Sims 4-related small pyramid activation objects from the Crashed Ship).
• 16 January 2025: v2.5 update. Added 10 objects across Into the Future, base game, Late Night, and Supernatural. 1 other object that had previously been incorrectly marked as "By Room" only is now also in "By Function".
• 23 December 2024: v2.4.1 minor update. The roadside larger trashcans seen at residential lots, can now be placed on public lots and can be bought more than 1 of on residential lots.
• 19 October 2024: v2.4 update intended for Seasons, which adds 3 workplace rewards that I honestly had no idea existed before yesterday (18 October 2024).
• 17 October 2024: v2.3 update, which adds 44 sealife wallmounts, 3 auto-mini-terrariums, and a butterfly floor item.
• 10 August 2024: v2.2 update, which made 11 potions from Generations available in Buydebug without the need to craft them with the chemistry lab, and to some extent listed the various Buy/Build Mode folders of many of the previously unhid objects.
• July 2024: v2.1 update, which made wall/desk phones and additional barbecues available on public lots.
• 3 March 2024: v2.0 update, which made an additional 21 objects unhidden, most of them pretty large objects like e.g. the Oasis Landing dam walls.
• 28 January 2024: v1.1 update, which made an additional 7 objects unhidden, and made 22 objects available on residential lots (Those objects had previously only been available on community lots).
• 5th of December 2023: Was requested to add zoomed-in images of objects, so I did my best to add 3 such images.
• 8th of December 2023: Added a 6th image, this time for the very biggest objects. That way, no one can (hopefully) accuse me of lacking screenshots of the stones in particular.

About Me
WIP big projects:
• EP changelogs for British English v1.4 (April 2024)
• "60FPS EA splash screen in Sims 3" (April/May 2024; depends on whether there's a fair amount of players who aren't using the various "Skip intros" mods)
• "IMAG game files ran through OptiPNG for slightly better game performance" (March or Q2 2024; need to figure out if DeltaBuild0 images are fair game to post as a mod, and not just FullBuild0)
• "Turn supermarkets into department stores" (Likely cancelled, as SN elixirs didn't have separate code rows)
• "Sims 3 Seinfeld apartment based on an architect's chart from 2011" (Cancelled; Sims 3 simply couldn't accomodate the needed straight/diagonal walls)
Backup of some of my mods (External link). I understood the rules (Link) as that "About Me" 100% allowed such links, though the normal SoMe profile settings lacked GitHub or GitLab options.
