I enjoy dressing my sims in clothing like that worn by my family and friends back in the decades before and after WWII, but I never find enough elsewhere to satisfy my needs so decided to make some of my own.
The first four are simple cotton print house dresses. The fabrics are reproduction vintage prints found online. Most of the details (collars, buttons, belts) are hand drawn. The mesh used is the 1940s dress mesh by All About Style. http://www.all-about-style.com/
The second set uses Maxis base game meshes. The first four are modeled from dresses found in a 1934 Sears catalog, including the fabrics. The vest-suit is adapted from a design in a 1930 Good Housekeeping magazine. The striped dress has two-toned shoes that are as close as I could get to actual shoes from the catalog. The floral and olive dresses in this set are also available for elders. All nine dresses are available for both adults and young adults.
I have included closeups showing some of the details on the dresses.

This is a new mesh recolour, and means that you will need to download the particular mesh itself in order for this to show up in your game. See the Meshes Needed section or read the text for more information.
