Island lots are just so fun! My houses usually don't have more than four bedrooms, but this one has six bedrooms this time to sleep 8 sims, ooo! There is lots of room for eating for all these sims (a full dining table and two smaller ones outside).

And for the kids, the basement has a gaming/toy area, which is needed if your sims have this many kids!

I had this great idea to use this lot as a port lot too! You just have to change the lot to community/port, and you can add any houseboat you like! I already have the port added. If you want to keep this home as is, you can delete the dock. This is just a great idea if you like playing in a 'normal' sim house, but you also like the idea of a houseboat for various reasons (maybe to fish, or to go to diving areas). This way you can have a smaller houseboat and this big home! You can just buy the port like you would any other community lot. The houseboat I have pictured is by me here.

There is one empty room in the basement. You can use this for a hobby room or an indoor garden, whatever you need extra space for.

*Notes*
-due to the nature of the roof in the top right corner of the front of the house, it appears shadowed, so I added a little light and turned it on for the day pictures. Sorry if this annoys you.
-to place, just put a 50X50 lot somewhere in the water.
