Do your sims want to be able to say that they live in a mansion but they don’t quite have the funds to buy one? Here’s a big house that they might be able to rent half of, which I guess is close enough.

This big suburban house actually consists of two mirror apartments, each with its underground garage.
No CC was used, I have all packs except IKEA stuff.
The rent is §4,363 for the left apartment and §4,274 for the right one.
The way I furnished them they only have one bathroom each, but in both cases the toilet and bath/shower are separate and accessible independently (so one sim can pee while someone is in the shower without privacy issues).

Both apartments are fully furnished.
I intended the one on the left for two flatmates who play in a band (one of them is also into tinkering). There’s room enough for them to invite over their other bandmates to hang out and play together (I imagine the upstairs office is their makeshift recording studio).
The apartment on the right is suited for a family of four. The parents used to travel a lot but ended up settling down when they had their kids. Their home still reflects their love of colorful exotic birds.

The game won’t let you rent fully furnished apartments by default. To rent an apartment fully furnished, there are two options that I know of:
- once your household is on the lot, activate testingcheats and shift+click on the door of the apartment you want. You should have the option to “rent furnished”;
- or you can download Pescado’s apartment hack, which will give you that option without the need for testingcheats, on top of other features and fixes.
