Hello and welcome to Breedgetown!
When you first lay eyes on Breedgetown, you might wonder: Why is it spelled like that? Why name it after bridges when there's only one? And why call it a town when it's so small it feels more like a village that doesn't even show up on maps sometimes? Well, the answer to the last question is simple - it just boosts the locals' self-confidence. As for the bridge thing, it's even easier: back in the day, when this area was just a small community of farmers who settled here to be closer to their fields, there were lots of small creeks and ravines that needed bridges. Then, eventually, someone decided to spell it the way it sounds, and that's how "breedge" stuck. Now when that's cleared up, this town is just a charming little spot, surrounded by fields and forests. It's far enough from the hustle and bustle of big cities to be peaceful and quiet, but close enough that you won't feel completely cut off from civilization. Just a cozy little settlement with a weird name and a laid-back vibe.

UPDATE: Added a link to the invisible driveway recolor that I completely forgot about, so huge thanks to vernissagemyheart for pointing that out
What is this?
Basically, this is a miniature version of another 'hood I built a couple years back with intentions of filming a machinima there and that I'm very proud of, but cannot upload anywhere because not only it ended up being HUGE and hense very glitchy, but also just finding all the creators whose lots were used there would take me decades, so instead I decided to make a more share-friendly version that I could potentionally use as a backup filming location in case the original neighborhood turns out to be too unplayable.
Also I guess it's worth mentioning that this 'hood is heavily inspired by a real existing village where I've spent pretty much every summer of my life. The layout is almost identical and even the weird name thing is also taken from there.
Lots:
There are 28 total. The majority was made by Honeywell and weren't changed at all (even the names remained the same), with the only exeptions being:
Tents
This old warehouse was built by me and is basically a copy of a real existing building where my friends and I used to hang out at when we were teens.
Price: 39.506.
Size: 60x30.
Haunted House
This little mansion was originally made by Phaenoh and then was renovated by me to make it fit with the rest of the 'hood.
Price: 20.313.
Size: 20x30.
Rustic Ridge 18
This lovely farm was created by Psychosimmer86 and just like the previous lot, was changed to make it blend in with the rest.
Price: 64.096.
Size: 40x40.
Calamity Hills Corner Store
This is the only community lot in town and the only one made by Honeywell that got a makeover.
Price (in case any of your sims are potential business owners): 98.212.
Size: 30x30.
I'd also like to mention a couple of other lots just to help you navigate through the area and plan out your gameplay:
If you're looking for some good starter homes, then the perfect options would be Cheap & Cheerfull and Cheap & Cheerfull II.
If I remember correctly, they're basically the same house, but with a different layout.
The prices are 14,183 and 14.210.
Both lots are 30x20.
Another great option for a starter home would be Broke Bespoke.
Still quite cheap, but seems more interesting.
Price: 17.774.
Size: 20x30.
And probably my favorite one from this category is Blue Bungalow.
Kinda pricey compared to the previous options, but it is also the prettiest one.
Price: 19.096.
Size: 40x20.
Moving to the other side of the spectrum, if you need a place worthy of your wealthy sims, you definitelly should go for Terracotta Traditional.
Why? Because it's the most expensive house in town, duh.
Price: 78.323.
Size: 40x30.
And as an honorable mention, if you, for some reason, are looking for a home that can offer something other builds around cannot, then I personally would choose Super White.
I'm not sure what is it exactly about this house that makes it stand out (for me, at least), but somehow it almost perfectly blends in with the rest while not looking like them at all. Does that make sense? Idk...
Price: 37.543.
Size: 30x30.

Custom Content:
This town does require some and you can find it all in the CC Required section. It's all either 'hood deco or Build/Buy stuff that is needed for the lots. I tried my best to keep it as minimalistic as possible and you should only download it all if you want everything to look exactly as it is shown in the screenshots. Otherwise, you are free to skip it and then change it all to your liking with whatever you have in your game.
CC that is not included/used, but can be seen on the pictures:
The Great Sky of Totalitarianism by Lowedeus
Skylines by Greatcheesecakepersona, Lowedeus, Withered Lilies and Criquette
Basic Linden Trees Redux by Criquette
Terrain Replacements by Curiousb
General Info:
- This neighborhood was built on a custom map created by me;
- It's completely empty. No residents, no premades, no NPCs.
- All lots were compressed with LotCompressor.
- Despite the map being quite big, the town itself is useable without any custom camera mods;
- There's no clothing store (Calamity Hills Corner Store does have a clothing rack, but it can hardly be used in case your sims wanna go for a real shopping experience), so I highly recommend adding some shopping-friendly subhood or just placing one here somewhere;
- It's definitely not BGC, but I can't tell you exactly which EPs and SPs were used.
I have a feeling like I'm forgetting something (as usual), but I think this is all for now. If anything else pops up I'll update this page.
Have a good one!
