As much as I like building pretty, shiny lots, there's something really fun about the challenge of building as small and as cheap as possible. So here's Struggle Starter - your sims and their dog are going to literally live on top of each other. And yet, it's cheerful, it's decorated, AND it's navigatable!

The living room/bedroom is fully usable - you have to close the bed to use the wardrobe, but otherwise, sims are able to walk around it and use the bookcase, sofa, tot toys, and ballet barre as they please. Closing the bed leaves space for toddler-training and dancing.

There are two problems that weren't really avoidable - kids will not be able to put their homework on the desk in the 3x3 room, because the left side of it isn't free; during my testing, they'd "put down" the notebook, and it appeared outside their room, on the ground. The other problem is that while bipedal sims will be able to navigate the kitchen and living room just fine, a wandering toddler will put a wrench in the works. It's probably best to close the Murphy bed in the morning, so the kid can play in the living room.

It's fully decorated, and it costs under 20k; a family of four will have some savings after moving in, and a single sim or a couple will be able to refurnish the rooms to make themselves a decently spacious itty bitty house.

It has a sprinkler (since there would be no way a Fireman would be able to get to the stove with panicking sims in the kitchen) and a telephone. It has no computer or TV. There's a doghouse, a dog bowl, and a chewing toy, and several gardening plots.

It's been playtested, checked for the Super Duper Hug bug, and needs no cc. It was built with all EPs and SPs and shrunk with Mootilda's Lot Adjuster.

Building it was a lot of fun. Hope someone enjoys the challenge this house provides!
