This house gets its name from the architect's mother-in-law, who looked at the plans and insisted that the highlight is "coral", not "salmon".
It is rumored that the architect's reaction was a concise "whatever".

This house is the result of several things: I don't normally do modern builds, and I needed a palate cleanser after two other, less modern, lots

Its layout isn't built on a specific plan, more on my general tendency towards right angles in builds; I don't really like diagonal walls, as they make roofs difficult to build and most don't really come across as "welcoming" to me. It was somewhat of a challenge to build and furnish this only with basegame items, as the choices were very limited and/or incomplete (for example, the simple 2-tile curtain reaches the floor, but the 1-tile version doesn't, so I had to use blinds).
This lot is built with open space for routing and later expansion in mind - for example, you can move the bookcases and desk in the living room or basement and create another bedroom upstairs. Or you can create more rooms in the basement. The outside flower circle can also be turned into a vegetable garden if you want, and the driveway can be removed entirely if you want to use the yard in other ways.
I've play tested the lot and found no routing errors.

Features
- basegame only items used! No CC, Store or EP/SP content!
- comfort objects: 1 double bed, 1 single bed, 1 crib, 3 loveseats, 2 armchairs;
- entertainment objects: 2 bookcases, TV, console, PC, Foosball table;
- basement with entertainment center, bathroom, and a small unused “storage” room;
- front yard with driveway and a small flower garden which can be converted into a vegetable garden.

Install Instructions
1. Click the file listed on the Files tab to download the file to your computer.
2. Extract the zip, rar, or 7z file.
2. Select the .sims3pack file you got from extracting.
3. Cut and paste it into your Documents\Electronic Arts\The Sims 3\Downloads folder. If you do not have this folder yet, it is recommended that you open the game and then close it again so that this folder will be automatically created. Then you can place the .sims3pack into your Downloads folder.
5. Load the game's Launcher, and click on the Downloads tab. Select the house icon, find the lot in the list, and tick the box next to it. Then press the Install button below the list.
6. Wait for the installer to load, and it will install the lot to the game. You will get a message letting you know when it's done.
7. Run the game, and find your lot in Edit Town, in the premade lots bin.
Extracting from RAR, ZIP, or 7z: You will need a special program for this. For Windows, we recommend 7-Zip and for Mac OSX, we recommend Keka. Both are free and safe to use.
