Back from a mini-hiatus, I present to you my personal dream house: a renovated 1920's Victorian-style cottage, with red brick, beautiful old shingles, and a modern witchy vibe. :lovestruc



This house has a huge living room, formal dining room, and bright, efficient kitchen. On the main floor you'll find a large master suite with walk-in closet, a renovated bathroom, and a nursery decorated with a modern touch. Upstairs you'll find two bedrooms under the steep eaves of the roof, one of which is set up as a play room; the other has been decorated with a moody colour palette and modern-goth decor. This room accesses the attic, which is unfinished, but is perfect for hobby space or extra storage. The second floor bathroom has not yet been renovated, but is still in good working order. Off the back of the house you'll find a small extension, where previous owners had perhaps once planned to build a sun room; the current owners use this narrow room as their laundry area.

Drop this cute cottage on a larger lot, and you can create a big herb garden in the side yard by the kitchen, or continue the extension further back to create a larger laundry area and mud room. The possibilities are endless for an ambitious Sim!

Please note that in the screenshots, you can clearly see a cabinet in the bathroom. This cabinet is the Hideaway Litter Box by LilyOfTheValley on TSR. This item is not included in the lot, as per TSR's policies. I have used this set in-game and it's a great addition to a house with cats. Stand-alone TV's by Morphead. A set of stand-alone TV's you can place on almost any surface in your Sim's home, plus wall-mounted options.

One-Tile Clothes Rack by piezoelectric. I can't stress enough how often I use this item. Simple pieces like this are highly functional for building more realistic houses in TS3.

"Shuttered Window" Expansion Set by QBUILDERZ. I love that QBuilderz took the time to create an expansion of the beautiful shuttered windows that came with WA. Having the option of both one- AND two-tile windows, PLUS matching floor-to-ceiling windows, is life changing when you're building.

Simple Kitchen by plasticbox. Once again, another simple, easy to use set that makes building realistic kitchens so much easier. I use this set ALL THE TIME.
