Description:
For sims that are sick of living in the suburbs, Backdoor Lane provides an alternative: a couple of small town lots with a more urban look and feel. They fit together like a jigsaw puzzle, creating a maze of backyard gardens and interconnected alleyways when placed in a tightly spaced neigbourhood. Most of them work as corner lots as well as facing the street, creating a very different impression depending on how you place them and what's on the lot next door.


Backdoor Lane 26 - "Bay Tree" restaurant
A small restaurant built on a 1x2 mini lot, with 8 tables on two floors and outside. Furnished in light wood with lots of green plants, in my imaginations this is a vegetarian/vegan/health food restaurant (note also the distinctive lack of dead flowers). Two bathrooms and a small shower room for the employees, open kitchen upstairs, playtested with 15 or so sims on the lot and works nicely (unlike it might seem, the stairs are not a bottleneck -- it worked very well with waiters and guests going up- and downstairs all the time).

If you're using this as a regular comm lot you should probably remove the table in the kitchen -- I put it there so that tired employees would always have somewhere to rest, but in non-owned mode you can't avoid guests being seated there which I find rather odd.
