Like many precious things, this one comes in a small package. At less than $12 000, this is also an easy property for lower-end buyers to afford.

Lavender Lodge, named for its pretty green and purple colour scheme, has two bedrooms. A small block keeps the rates down, with convenient street access for sociable residents.

A generous porticoed entry welcomes visitors, while the little foyer gives them a moment to breathe before entering the public rooms. The foyer leads directly into the parlour. From there, an arch opens into the dinette kitchen, finished with a tasteful flagstone floor, or take the spiral staircase up to the bedrooms and main bathroom. The master bedroom boasts its own balcony, plus a nook for your desk.

A guest toilet is tucked in between the kitchen and the stairs.
The yard is currently bare, but would suit the minimalist gardener.

Notes for Players:

EDIT - if you don't already have marvine's spiral stairs, you will need to download the animations file as well as my lot file - either from marvine's thread or from here. Sorry I forgot to include it originally.

The house has been lived in for a week. It is furnished for a couple, but three could live there. Phone and fire alarm are fitted, and cheap basic furnishings for a starting family.

This is part of my series of houses for poor students, but it was made with basegame only.

The player's view screenshot shows the house in testing, with a sim coming down Marvine's marvellous spiral stairs. The furnishings in this shot are not what is packaged with the house - check the top-down views to see the exact inclusions.

And if you don't like purple, feel free to redecorate!
