Do you have sims that just want a cheap room in an old fashioned boarding house? Not a rat-hole boarding house, mind you, but one where they can enjoy the good life they want to become accustomed to? Then this may be just what you are looking for.
This lovely converted colonial has all sorts of activities to keep your sims busy in their free time--from making pottery to playing the piano to playing cards with the landlord.



The larege yard features a pond with fish, a garden where you can grow crops, and a lovely heart-shaped swimming pool. The landlord really should weed those tomatoes--but she is busy playing cards today.


The common area downstairs has all skill builders and many items for fun and companionship.


Upstairs are private rooms just large enough to call home.


If you want to change anything in the common area, do so before you move in. Go into the unoccupied lot, open the console (control-shift-c) and type "changelotzoning residential" to get the build and buy mode tools back. When you've made the modificaitons you want, open the cheat window again and change the lot back to apartments with "changelotzoning apartmentbase".

The lot has been play tested for around 6 game days and seems to be working fine.
