Here's another new build as part of my San Fran conversion project. I built these immediately after my Pacific Heights Terrace lot, as I wanted to try another Victorian style terrace build, but go far colourful and more Painted Ladies vs Pacific Heights.

This was definitely an experiment for me as I tend to lean towards the more upmarket looking builds and I was definitely pushed out my comfort zone with the garish colours. At one point I thought I'd give up, because I tested so many different wall colours. Initially it started off with pastels and then neutral brick, but once I allowed myself to try some of the really vibrant colours, I realised that's when the lot really got brought to life, with the contrast between the three houses.

I really wanted this one to have a lot of detail. I achieved this with the varying window and door colours, as well as the respective pillars. What really brought this out at the end was the plants I placed on the balconies. At one point I did fear this lot was looking more New Orleans, so I kept the plants as conservative as I could.

I'm honestly chuffed with the final lot. It has a detailed, striking look whilst still being visually pleasing. I love how each house has it's distinctive own character. Each is unique, whilst having a similar size and layout overall. The left and right homes have their own garden's, but what makes the middle one really special is the exclusive roof terrace.

Each house has two bedrooms on the middle floor and another on the top. Rather than cramming bedrooms in, I left the hallways larger on the top floors so they were more versatile.

I personally prefer at Apartment base for this type of lot so I've uploaded this version of the lot for you as well as the residential, but do whatever you like and have fun with it.

Let me know what you think and how you end up playing!

Enjoy,
Matt
