Basic appliances included: lights, toilet, shower/tub combo (expensive), fridge, kitchen sink, trashcan, phone, burglar alarm, smoke detector, bookshelf. This house also has a stove and a nice big fireplace in the living room. There's enough room to add a carport.

Expandability: Easy - rooms can be added on the backside, turning the current bedroom into a livingroom.


Note:
If you get an "expansion pack data required" error upon installation, use Clean Installer instead of the Maxis one. Apparently this is a known issue (not specific to this download), see this thread describing the problem and this post (daysies) explaining the workaround.
