I've converted one of my favorite outdoor meshes for the sims 3 for you to enjoy. It's the little fairy from the Mansions and Gardens stuff pack. This mesh is found under decorative/misc. and outdoor/lawn decor, and costs 365 simoleons (just like the Sims 2 fairy). This fairy has one recolorable channel, the entire statue is one channel.
