Introduction:
This mod adds a custom Pirate/Sailor career to the game, based on the Golden Age of Piracy. The Career is referred to as Sailor in-game.

Every sailor has got to start somewhere, so here you are, working at the docks as a dock worker. Dockworkers, also known as longshoremen and stevedores, have existed since ancient times. The role of dockworkers has evolved significantly over the centuries as maritime trade has grown and modernized: In the Middle Ages, dockworkers played a crucial role in the trade networks of Europe. The Hanseatic League, a powerful trading confederation in Northern Europe, employed dockworkers to handle goods at major ports. Loading and unloading ships requires knowledge of the operation of loading equipment, the proper techniques for lifting and stowing cargo, and the correct handling of hazardous materials. In addition, workers must be physically strong and able to follow orders attentively. Many longshoremen are needed to unload a ship. A ship can only be at a port for a limited amount of time, so their work must be completed quickly. – Pirate Job Description

Rabbithole: The Pirate/Sailor Career is situated in the Abandoned Warehouse rabbithole.

This career branches once after level four. The career focuses generally on the Athletic and Logic skills, with Fishing, Charisma and Handiness also required. The career also requires the Hit 'em Harder Blackjack Table object from the The Sims 3 Store for one of the skills, however you can still use the career without it.
