Seasonal pool autonomy changes

I live in Sweden, and in our climate, jumping into a swimming pool in the middle of winter is a very bad idea. Yet our Sims don't seem to have this self-preserving attitude towards temperature and getting half-naked and wet, which rather bothers me. I decided it was time to add some seasonal sense to our Simmies decisions on when to go for a swim, and leave the insane winter bathing to our dear neighbours in Finland.

What is this?
This is a global mod that affects the autonomy of interactions that your Sims use to get into swimming pool. It does not affect their ability to get out of the pool, don't worry, your Sims aren't going to drown because of this

Your Sims can get into the swimming pool by diving from a diving board, sliding on a pool slide, and if you use Cyjon's Pool Ladder Autonomy, by getting in using a pool ladder. All three of these are affected by this mod. The mod only affects autonomous use of these objects, it will not affect player-directed behavior.

Sims can also get into a pool without an object if playing Marco Polo. However, because this is such a rare occurrence I decided to skip it for this mod. If anyone finds their Sims get into the pool by playing this game at weird times, you are welcome to request an update that includes it.

This mod can toggle autonomy on/off depending on Season. It also checks where the pool is, so you can toggle if it should affect all pools or only outside pools. It is very easy to modify yourself to get it just the way you want, all you have to do is enter 0 or 1 into a box. See below for instructions.

The version I offer for you here will only allow autonomy in outside pools during the summer, but does not affect autonomy of pools that are inside, regardless of current Season. I set it up this way because where I come from, summer is the only time of the year where you'd want to get in a pool. If you want it to be less restrictive it is easy to change. See instructions below.

How do I edit this?
You need SimPE to edit this mod. If you for some reason can't or don't want to use SimPE, you are welcome to ask me to do it for you. Just be sure to tell me clearly which seasons should be autonomous and which shouldn't, and if it should affect all pools or only outside pools.


Compatibility
Requires Seasons. Compatible with all EPs/SPs.

Conflicts
Conflicts with Pescado's poolhack. Because I imagine some of you might use his mod and want to keep it, I made a fix for his mod that includes my changes. My mod will be applied first, so it will first check season, and if season allows autonomy, it will do Pescado's checks for clothing. You must still have Pescado's mod, and mine has to load after his. Do not download the regular mod, get the fix version. Place my fix mod in the same folder as the poolhack mod, and it will work as intended. HCDU will show them as conflicting, but don't worry, it's supposed to conflict.

Does not conflict with Cyjon's Pool Ladder Autonomy.

May conflict with mods that affect pool interactions. If you find a conflict listed here, let me know about it and I'll look into it.
