Slimy Newman's POV Part 4

I remember how excited Sasha was to learn that Remington Mansfield was my former brother in law.
Sasha was a huge fan of his creations and begged me to set up an introduction.
I was missing Remy and wanted the excuse to call on him.
My getting him that first assignment on ‘Baby, I’ll Be Home for Christmas’ launched his career.
I had to remind him of that, when I called him the night before we descended on him at his studio.

Though I had a beautiful loving wife, fame, and the prestige I’d always desired...she wasn’t you.
Sasha was beyond hurt to learn that I had several mistresses. None of them meant a thing to me, of course.
I tried to explain (as I did to you) that even if a man can dine on a juicy fillet mignon every night, he still craves the occasional pork chop or simple bowl of cereal.
Men aren't like women. We can sleep with someone and not feel a thing for them. We just like a change of pace and the thrill of the hunt. We're made that way!
It didn't help matters when she defied me by coming into this room and found a virtual shrine dedicated to another woman....
